Erbil Rovian Solar Project – Multi-Phase Industrial System

A large-scale solar energy project implemented for a potable water bottling factory in Erbil, Iraq, designed to optimize energy efficiency across multiple operational phases.

The project is structured into three phases, with Phase 1 and Phase 2 completed, while Phase 3 is currently under development, reflecting a scalable and future-ready solar deployment strategy.

The system utilizes JA Solar PV panels with varying capacities across phases, including 550W panels in Phase 1 and 610W panels in Phases 2 and 3, ensuring optimized performance based on project expansion requirements.

The total annual energy production is estimated at approximately 5,544,000 kWh/year, significantly reducing fuel consumption and operational energy costs.

All panels are mounted on hangar rooftops using a durable aluminum mounting structure, ensuring long-term structural stability.

The system operates باستخدام Huawei inverters distributed across phases:

  • 10 inverters (60 kWac) – Phase 1
  • 10 inverters (115 kWac) – Phase 2
  • 10 inverters (115 kWac) – Phase 3

This phased inverter configuration ensures efficient energy conversion and system scalability.
