Atiyah Bin Awed Farms – Solar Pumping System in Jordan

A large-scale solar-powered pumping system implemented at Atiyah Bin Awed Farms in Jordan to support agricultural irrigation processes with sustainable energy.

The project integrates 3,272 JA Solar PV panels, delivering a total installed capacity of 1.8 MWp, ensuring reliable power supply for continuous irrigation operations.

The system supports 8 irrigation pumps, designed to optimize water distribution efficiency across the farm.

Annual energy production is estimated at approximately 3,024,000 kWh/year, significantly reducing dependency on conventional energy sources.

The system operates using 8 WEG inverters with varying capacities (160 kW, 200 kW, 250 kW, and 300 kW), providing flexible and efficient energy conversion based on load requirements.

The supporting structure is constructed using galvanized steel from Borghol Steel Company, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions.
